SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

 The Communications Lead Officer is an integral part of the Marketing team.
  • Responsible for updating, proofing, and editing new and existing website content across multiple properties, the Digital Marketing Specialist will help drive growth primarily through consumer response, secondarily through SEO value. Additionally, this position will take ownership of proofing all printed and digital materials for marketing programs, including review of regulatory disclaimers, readability, spelling, grammar, accuracy, and consistency. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 - Strategy & Planning: Developing comprehensive Digital strategies, identifying target audiences, and setting campaign goals.
 - Content Creation: Producing engaging content (blogs, videos, images, emails) for various platforms.
 -  Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Improving website visibility in search results through keyword research and optimization.
 - Social Media Marketing: Managing social channels, scheduling posts, engaging with users, and running ads.
 - Paid Advertising (PPC): Creating and managing paid ad campaigns (Google, Meta) and optimizing for ROI.
 -Analytics & Reporting: Tracking performance (KPIs, Google Analytics), analyzing data, and reporting results to stakeholders.
 -Website Management: Optimizing website user experience (UX), landing pages, and content via a CMS.
 
  1. Assist with day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing, etc.) and social media tools (Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, Facebook, etc.) including campaign planning and implementation, budget management, performance review, optimization, and analysis
  2. Assist with written content for SEM/Paid Search, social, banners and email ads, and blog posts. 
  3. Market research, consumer research, competitive research, and keyword research, as necessary. 
  4. Proactively manage and distribute brand updates, promotional communication, document retention, and calendar management
  5. Contributes to the planning and implementation of campaigns, including campaign setup, list management, segmentation, and A/B testing.
  6. Upload feeds and tracking pixels into the CMS, as necessary. 
  7. Other special projects and duties as assigned.
 . Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
  • Assist with the comprehensive planning, implementation, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (search engines, social media).
  • Handle day-to-day search marketing and PPC activities, including campaign setup, list management, segmentation, A/B testing, and budget oversight.
  • Conduct market, consumer, competitive, and keyword research to inform strategy and optimization efforts.
. Website & CMS Management
  • Manage website content and user experience (UX) by updating graphic and written content within the Content Management System (CMS).
  • Create new landing pages within the CMS, performing minor HTML and CSS edits as necessary.
  • Handle technical tasks such as uploading data feeds and tracking pixels into the CMS.
. Performance Analytics & Strategy
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics to review campaign success and identify areas for optimization.
  • Report performance data and results to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of overall digital strategies and campaign goals.

  • Report to: Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred), desired more 5 years of experience in the same failed.
 KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  Expertise in digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel advertising.
  • Strong proof-reading and editorial skills with firm grasp of English & Arabic; ability to write and proof with correct spelling, grammar, and syntax.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • High level of organization required, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Punctual, dependable attendance. 
  • Ability to work within a team while completing individual tasks independently. 
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Has a proactive attitude and takes initiative to complete assigned projects.
  • Sufficient interpersonal skills in dealing with relevant authorities.
